Why we exist
As Muslims we must improve the communities we live in — by visiting the sick, feeding the hungry, teaching people to read, and helping people who have no one to turn to.
Our Mission
Follow the example. Serve the community.
To follow in the footsteps of Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him), and implement the Islamic ideology of service to the community we live in, without regard to race or religion.

Every project starts the same way — a neighbor needs something, and we show up. No paperwork, no preconditions, no questions about faith.

Interfaith projects where Muslim and non-Muslim neighbors work side by side on the same task.

Career bootcamps, resume and interview coaching, and job-search training, offered free.

Free COVID-19 vaccination and testing clinics hosted with local partners in Plainfield — open to every resident, insured or not.

Thank-you dinners for firefighters
AMAN volunteers and local families prepare and deliver dinners and gift baskets to Plainfield and Naperville firefighters and police officers.

The Big Serve
AMAN teams join the regional day of action, packing meals with Feed My Starving Children in Aurora and supporting local food drives.

AMAN partners with GainPeace to deliver cultural competency training for public officials, police, and first responders — so the people who serve our towns understand the communities they serve.
